কলকাতার নামী দামী মঞ্চে
লোক দেখানো সম্মাননা দেওয়ার জন্য
খুব স্বল্প মূল্যে আপনারা বিক্রি হয়ে গেছেন আজকের দিনের সব অকবিদের কাছে।
হ্যাঁ ক্যান্সার এর চেয়েও ভয়ানক রোগ – সাহিত্যের অসুখ,
আপনাদের চেতনাকে আক্রান্ত করেছে,
নববর্ষ সংকলন, শারদীয়া সংখ্যা থেকে শুরু করে কলকাতায় বই মেলায় আপনাদের রোগের জীবাণু সংক্রমণ ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে।
অকবি থেকে কবি হওয়ার আশায় যারা টাকার পর টাকা ঢেলে যাচ্ছে আপনাদের পেছনে তাদের কথা না হয় বাদই দিলাম,
ওরা খুব হাসিমুখে টাকার বিনিময়ে কেনা সম্মাননা
হাতে নিয়ে নিজেদের ছবিতে কবি সাহিত্যিক এমনকি লেখক লেখিকা বলে জাহির করেন।
তবে সাহিত্যের উপসংহারে আর ঠিক কি পড়ে থাকলো একথা যখন ভাবতে যান তখন দেখেন,
সাহিত্যের অসুখ যাদের আক্রমণ করতে পারেনি তারাই প্রকৃত মূল্য দেয় তাদের সৃষ্টিকে তাদের লেখাকে,
আর যাই হোক এঁরা তো নিজেদের শিল্প সত্তাকে বিক্রি করে দিতে পারে না আপনাদের কাছে।
তোর জন্য
তোর জন্যই রাত দুপুরে কবিতা লিখি, বাদ দেই না গল্পও
তোর জন্যই হৃদয় জুড়ে অনেকটা জায়গা আছে, আর সবার ভাগে অল্প।
তোর জন্যই কফির ঠেকে ধোঁয়া উঠতো উইক-এন্ডে,
তোর জন্যই মনে রাখতাম কবে যেন ভ্যালেন্টাইনস ডে।
তোর জন্যই নিয়ম করে সপ্তমীতে ঘুরতে যেতাম সময় কাটতো গঙ্গার ধারে,
তোর জন্যই প্রতি রোববার চিঠি লিখতাম পাঠিয়ে দিতাম হলুদ খামে পুরোনো সেই ডাকঘরে।
তোর জন্যই বাদ দিয়েছি নিকোটিনের অভ্যাস,
তোর জন্যই হারিয়ে গেছে আমার রঙিন ক্যানভাস।

সায়ন্তনী, তুমি প্রতিটা রোববার গঙ্গার ঘাটে দাঁড়িয়ে আমার সাথে আরো কিছুক্ষণ অনর্গল গল্প করবে?
অনেকদিন হলো ভালো করে কোন গল্পই লেখা হয় না,
চেনা অচেনা যেকোনো ধরনের গল্প হলেই চলবে।
সায়ন্তনী, একটা গোটা মাসের মধ্যে অন্তত দু-পাঁচটা দিন আমাকে একটু যত্ন করে কষ্ট দিতে পারবে?
কতদিন শেষ বিকেলে ছাদে গিয়ে দুঃখের কবিতা লিখি না, আপাতত মানসিক কোন কষ্ট পেলেই হবে।
সায়ন্তনী, চাকরিটা পেয়ে গেলে অন্তত কয়েকটা বছর
আমার সঙ্গে হাসি কান্নার সংসার করবে?
বহুদিন রাতের পর রাত জেগে ভালোবাসার উপন্যাস লেখা হয় না, মোটামুটি ওই দু এক বছর হলেই চলবে।

গত বারের পুজো সংখ্যায় বিচ্ছেদের ওপর কোনো প্রবন্ধ লিখিনি, অপ্রত্যাশিত ভাবে হলেই হবে।

মন ভিজেছে বৃষ্টির জলে
বিতৃষ্ণার শহরে তোমায় খুঁজেছি দু-ফোঁটা
জলের আশায়,
বৃষ্টি হয়েই ধরা দিয়েছো প্রেমবিহীন প্রান্তরে।
ফিরতে গিয়ে আমি কেঁদেছি কখনো বা হেসেছি,
আবার কখনো অথৈ জলে ডুবেছি,
বুঝিনি, তুমি বৈশাখের বিকেলের মেঘ,
যেকোনো সময় ঝরে যেতে পারো বৃষ্টি হয়ে।
সেই বৃষ্টি আজ ভাসিয়ে দিল আমার শহর,
ভাসিয়ে দিল আমার হৃদি অনুভবের স্রোতে,
এই পুরনো সন্ধ্যেয় বুকের প্রকোষ্ঠে গতিবেগ বেড়েছে,
এখন এসেছে ঝমঝমিয়ে বৃষ্টি সঙ্গে যত্ন করে আমার জন্য এনেছে এক রাতের জ্বর।
মন ভিজেছে বৃষ্টির জলে, শুধু বৃষ্টির কথা ভেবে।
আমাদের একটা সংসার হতে পারতো
তুমি চাইলেই বসন্তের শেষ আলোয় যখন আকাশ খেলে সূর্যাস্তের হোলি,
তখন আমার বেরঙিন জীবনটা রঙিন হতে পারতো,
তুমি চাইলেই শরতের সব কাশফুল দিয়ে সাজিয়ে দিতে পারতাম তোমার শহর,
যে শহরে শেষ ট্রেনে ফিরে যেতে পারতাম আমি।
তুমি চাইলেই একটা কালজয়ী উপন্যাস লিখতে পারতাম, যার প্রথম পাঠিকা হতে তুমি।
তুমি চাইলেই আমরা পায়ে পা মিলিয়ে হেঁটে যেতাম গহীন পাইনের অরণ্যে যেখানে কুয়াশার চাদর আমাদের স্বাগত জানাতো।
তুমি চাইলেই বছরে দুবার করমন্ডল উপকূলের বৃষ্টিটুকু ধরতে পারতাম দুহাত পেতে,
তুমি চাইলেই সমুদ্রের নির্জন সন্ধ্যায় হঠাৎ করেই উত্তাল ঢেউ আছড়ে পড়তে পারতো আমাদের উপর।
তুমি চাইলেই রাত দুপুরে তোমার বেসুরো গলায় গান গেয়ে শোনাতে পারতে,
তারপর আমিও হয়তো কবিতা বলতাম অনর্গল।
তুমি চাইলেই একদিন অন্তত আমার হতে পারতে,
তুমি চাইলেই সব স্বপ্ন হাতের মুঠোয় বন্দি হতে পারতো।
তুমি চাইলেই এই জীবনে আমাদের একটা সংসার হতে পারতো।
